Filtration

The air we breathe daily contains more than air. Dust, pollen, dander, smoke, and bacteria. We can’t live in a vacuum, but we can filter the air in our homes and workplaces. Smith Plumbing & Heating has been an HVAC contractor in Saskatoon since 1917. HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning. All involve the circulation of air. Filtration takes foreign particles out of the air so cleaner air is distributed. If you have ever seen a dirty furnace filter you know what can be pulled from the air. Trust our HVAC technicians. They can assess your air quality and install the best filtration to clean your air.

Heat Recovery

A heat recovery ventilator uses a heat-exchange core for heat recovery. It is designed to pull in stale, warm indoor air. That heat is mixed with fresh air from outside. The cooled, stale air is exhausted. The warmed, fresh air is returned to the house. Heat recovery units are often important in energy-efficient homes. These homes can be very airtight and prone to moisture build-up. Heat recovery units do not add additional moisture to the home. Smith Plumbing & Heating can determine if a Heat recovery unit is the right choice for you. Saskatoon’s source for heat recovery ventilators.
